Seaport were appointed by ADB to examined the seaports responsible for handling the majority of trade around the Bay of Bengal and the services that provide these connections. This was done with a view to identify projects that would make a significant contribution to the improvement of maritime infrastructure and through that enable trade in and around the Bay of Bengal.
